Who on Earth is BURAOT?
Overview
BURAOT is the quintessential skeptic but a not-yet-so-hopeless pessimist. Impatient most of the time, hence the name, he yearns to discover the magnanimity of the universe and the infinite folly of human stupidity.
Despite being born from Catholic parents and was raised and educated by Franciscan and Dominican friars, he now considers himself Agnostic. And while he took up Psychology, Philosophy and Law, he is now trying to dwell into Astronomy and Astrophysics.
He started blogging two years ago when he met his long lost friend and fellow writer online. His very first blog was The Antisocial to which he later renamed Literary Ekek after a few months of trying to gain his footing. While Literary Ekek does not attract that much of a traffic, it paved the way for Buraot to meet some new friends along the way.
Most of them are responsible in making his blogging career somewhat successful. From blogging tips to networking, from troubleshooting to trouble-making, they are always there for Buraot. Aside from this site, Buraot is actively writing for a few more blogs.
While you can sense a dark and serious tone here, he does a complete reverse in his Tagalog-speaking blog Anak ni Kulapo where he uses self-deprecating humor and naught.
And even though they are now permanently shelved, he was already writing about politics through his Ibangon ang Bayan and The Antisocial blogs.
Currently, he has two more sites in the works, Buraot.Com and Ang Kawawang Koboy.
Buraot is a phantom who loves to prowl in the dark. A natural night creature who would rather sleep during the day and work at night. In his own world, he believes he is but one of the few remaining of his kind, the last of a dying breed.
This is his life, his death, his afterlife. This is his journey.
