The Antisocial is Dead

I am finally putting the lid on one of my original blogspot blogs, The Antisocial.

After having too much second thoughts on not doing it, I finally had to do it. I don’t have much time running back and forth with several blogs just to maintain it without really wanting to do it. I have had my time with blogspot and I thank them for the free service.

I am not saying I didn’t enjoy their free services. Yes, you get a bunch of spam and all, but switching to wordpress is like the next step to my personal evolution as a blogger and webmaster. Continue Reading…

Have You Asked Dmitri Yet?

There is no doubt that when it comes to web publishing, the wordpress platform is the way to go. In fact when they did the recent upgrade, it became more user-friendly and less geeky. I can navigate with it’s dashboard a lot better now.

The thing is, even with better navigating capability, I had no darn idea how php works. It’s a good thing I met a few bloggers who were very supportive to geek wannabes and technologically-challenged like me.

Do I have any idea how the new system works? Nada. Zip. Zero. But I know I am in good hands, I have Dmitri….

Not All Blogs Are Created Equal

Over the past year, there had been lots of arguments over at the blogosphere. Arguments made by and against bloggers and commenters. Bloggers against bloggers. From issues as lame as a grammatical error to as grand as cleaning up the entire blogosphere.

Personally, I always believe in the constructive nature of arguments. It’s like adding salt and pepper to get that bland flavor a little more taste. It’s a simple science experiment where you let your thesis clash with an anti-thesis to get your synthesis. After all, at the end of an argument lies a more solid foundation for a new and better idea.
