I got another congeniality Award cum Tag. This time it’s the Friendship Award from one of our Entredropper, Miss T.

Some people hate meme and tags and awards. They think it’s childish, answering a bunch of questions, some mundane, a waste of blog space because it pertains to nothing but converts the blogs into social networks, and a waste of time.

Some people love it. It creates camaraderie and friendship among fellow bloggers, it creates a sense of community in a whole wide world of the blogosphere, and it promotes regular traffic and interactivity, and ultimately, it provides backlinks for all of the participating sites. Continue Reading…

You all know this site recently won a Filipino Blog of the Week Award from the site of the Composed Gentleman right?

Well, as a refresher, this gentleman from South Dakota had been running a weekly contest on his sidebar for quite a few years now. Every week, all nominee sits on his sidebar for a week for all his visitors to gawk at, visit at, and be vote d upon.

The contest’s 150th (?) week  saw this site as a runaway winner, to which we got a “bragging” badge. The following week, we won again, thus making the Composed Gentleman confer the Hall of Fame badge to this site. Continue Reading…
