Giving Away Some Blog Money

Not very often, we do sponsor some blog contests. And this is one of them. Kaye and Pehpot of Pehpot.com is conducting a blog anniversary contest and some serious money is up for grabs. They are giving away $500 in cash and so much more.

Joining isn’t that hard really. All you need to do is blog about it or review some of its major sponsors like I Am Buraot (that’s me),  Anak Ni Kulapo (that’s me too) , Seiko’s Diary and Mom Conversations and you’re in.

For more information, just visit the site by clicking on the official contest baner. Good Luck!

The Forty-Fourth List

Not that lousy post again! Sorry guys, it’s just it’s been a tradition now at this site to post linkbacks to those new sites that have joined our Entredropper Entrecard Generator System. And now, we are on our 44th serving.

My I just remind everyone, especially the newcomers, who sometimes get a bit confused about these “lists”. The number of list DOES NOT correspond to the number of batches in our Entredropper. It only means the number of times I had posted links.

The batches are numbered according to the time a site have linked and had posted our badge. It’s a first-come-first-link basis. Continue Reading…

Sec. Cabral, Quit Bullying Bloggers

Jan. 21, 2010. This is the day a miniscule blogger was picked on by a pea-size brained Philippine government official. A blogger named Ella of Blog ni Ella is now facing libel charges from an article about those “rotting” merchandise inside the DSWD warehouses.

If you guys can remember, the Philippines took a beating from typhoon Ondoy last October 2009. It was October 23, 2009, when this site issued an article in reference to the original article of Blog ni Ella regarding the state of of some government relief efforts in some warehouses owned by the Department of Social Welfare and Deveopment (DSWD). The Myth of the Invisible Storytellers

Do you see the whole picture, or read between the lines? Can you discern the pattern of words and thoughts formation that leads you to a certain pre-destined conclusion?

Are they just written syllables to fill your wandering mind? Or a well orchestrated move to stab your back and rob you blind?

Storytellers are full of talk, they’re cheap.

You could find them everywhere, but you can’t see them anywhere. Subtly, and ever so charmingly, they can suggest thoughts into our minds, mumble words into our mouths. They can move us and leave us on our tracks. They can, publicly, make us live or die. Continue Reading…

The Forty-Third List

This one took a while. I guess everybody was busy with the holidays and are kinda tired post-holidays that it took most of us a while to get our blogs running.

I myself was busy setting up and tweaking new lay-outs in time for the new year. While this new lay-out maybe a little bit feminine for some, I really don’t mind. It actually is better, a lot better, than the last one.

Well, for now here’s the 43rd part of our no-stnop linkages from some other sites. These are the new sites that have graced our lists of batches for our Entredropper page.

HAPPY ENTRECARDING bloggers! Continue Reading…

The Surviving

Since there are lots of places I have lived my entire life, I naturally have a lot of friends. Friends that over the years have remained my buddies, my brother, my sister.

I am so lucky to have found them, and I thank them all.

I am not trying to be optimistic here about friendship. In fact, I am a bit depressed writing this article. I am in this mood because earlier I was thinking of my friends who I wanted to talk to and realized…. that four of my best friends are now dead. Continue Reading…

Where Have All The Leftists Gone?

Ever since the fragmented left disintegrated into the oblivion and some into the mainstream, remnants of such had filled our more than enough field of experts, talking heads, intellectual analysts, political operators and kingmakers.

They fill the offices of government officials, national to local, and they are with politicians in all levels. Some are even in the media, from the mainstream down to mere blogs.

They fill the chatter of white noise rummaging through several channels and frequencies that unfortunately cannot be filtered. Not that anyone, for the sake of free press, wanted it to be filtered.

But where, really, have all the leftists gone? Continue Reading…
