Arrogance and Humility

backstabbingPhoto Credits here.

There was a time when men were men, bound not by rules but mutual respect. A respect that one need not earn but modestly given by virtue of simply being men. Contracts are not made by voluminous set of recycled trees but by a few pristine words.

In the wars of the old, rivals shake hands before and after battles. Even opposing sides have mutual respect. They are enemies in the battlefield, and being soldiers, comrades outside of it. These days, the gentlemanly conduct of directing a battle, were all gone. Continue Reading…

The Twenty-Sixth List

We just don’t seem to run out of new lists to come up. I don’t want to keep on boring you to death on these lousy posts about links. You probably wouldn’t care about these things. But if you are one of those hundreds of site owners who have linked to this site, you’re  probably waiting for the lovelink that I provide.

Reciprocating links is both the lovechild and engine of running a blog.  And I am proud to have so many sites out there who are continuously linking to us. But not too proud not to give back those links. Continue Reading…

For this is a leap of faith… Continue Reading…

The Proverbial Zero

the zero hourHere I am in my usual void, flipping and pushing pencils until they ran out of lead. It was dull and as always with this restless mind, I was beginning to bore myself to death.

There’s an empty sheet of pad paper lying embarrassingly white in front of me, as if seducing the pencil I was holding to finally give in and touch its bare nakedness.

So I just let Pavlov’s hand do the thinking by letting this fair writing implement run wild in different fashions all over the barren paper hungry for its undivided attention. It responded in kind ever so dearly by willingly giving itself up and embracing the charcoal being spread from within. Continue Reading…

The Twenty-Fifth List

The batches for our FREE Entredropper System are now full. As I have said when we started, we can always add another batch to accommodate the incoming links that continue to come our way.

But before we do that, first I had to make sure all links that are included on our lists of batches are valid, and requirements had been met.

Except of course my other site that I have included as a freeloader here, and a handful of sites that for personal reasons, I will keep on the lists no matter what. Just as long as their entrecard widget is working. Continue Reading…
