Entredropper Batch Maintenance
As you entrecard drop addicts probably know, some sites on our Entredropper batches are missing two things, the entredropper badge and the actual entrecard widget.
I am aware of such things. And please bear with me and those of the site’s owners.
While I found them to be missing such, I am in no hurry to take them out of our system. I believe there are some mitigating factors why we should not take them out right away.
Yes, it is a requirement for your site to put a reciprocal link or entredropper badge on your site to be included on our list of quick-drop batches. But those sites missing it used to have one. That’s why their site appears on the lists.
Most probably, when they try to tweak their site, they accidentally took out the code as well. But for us to be fair to all who proudly displays their badge and link, I will have no choice but to take them down, at least not right away.
From our list of thirty batches, twenty-five have already been filled. That means 250 sites have already filled the roster. Five batches with 50 more sites will be needed to accommodate the initial 300 sites that we originally intended to.
What does this mean? It means those sites who initially had the link or the badge but no longer have them will have ample time to put it back until we fill up the rest of the batches.
I am only doing this because if I take them down right now, I will have to find somebody else’s site to fill up the temporary lists. I needed them so visitors will have a site they can drop their entrecards onto. Besides, it’s also time-consuming to replace each until all have been filled.
The second one is a no-brainer. Without the entrecard widget, there would be no reason for the system to be here. That’s the whole purpose of it, for the visitors and regulars to drop entrecards.
So, those sites on the list that have no entrecard widgets, I usually give them a few days to a week to make sure to put back the widget. If not, I will have to take them down. The only exception to this rule of course would my other site, Anak ni Kulapo, that I have added to the system as a freeloader.
If for some reason you realized your site no longer appears on the list, just give me a buzz. We regularly check and update it for easier dropping pleasure of our entredroppers. How are we able to check it?

Recently, after having enough attention (finally, whew!) from advertising partners, have been removing and disqualifying blogs without much warning or explanation. So, the poor entredropper have no choice but get back to entrecard and remove their codes immediately.
In any way, thanks for quite a number of hits coming from your E-system. hehehe

I have a question… How do you add the rollover widget? Is it ok to add it on a blogger blog?

hello Jason, rollover widget? you mean my entredropper badge? yes, it can be added to a blogger blog. just try to double check the codes once you have added it. most of the time with blogger, it adds an extra ” on the code and it can be a broken link.

Jonasan, that was the Cumulus plugin. Unfortunately, the plugin only works for wordpress. but you can search it, maybe they have one for blogspot…
