A Badge to Brag About
You all know this site recently won a Filipino Blog of the Week Award from the site of the Composed Gentleman right?
Well, as a refresher, this gentleman from South Dakota had been running a weekly contest on his sidebar for quite a few years now. Every week, all nominee sits on his sidebar for a week for all his visitors to gawk at, visit at, and be vote d upon.
The contest’s 150th (?) week saw this site as a runaway winner, to which we got a “bragging” badge. The following week, we won again, thus making the Composed Gentleman confer the Hall of Fame badge to this site.
While this may not be a huge huge contest, it still gives me a little sense of pride that some of my kababayans are giving me the nudge. And as a proud Filipino, I will display the Hall of Fame badge for all ya all to see that indeed, I am of Filipino descent.
And to you gentleman from South Dakota, cheers man!
